In order to access the CME exams you must meet four requirements:
An active subscription for the CME education content means that if you want to take an Advanced TEE CME Exam you must have an active Advanced TEE subscription. If you want to take an Introductory TEE CME Exam you must have an active Introductory CME subscription. If the CME Exam awards 5 CME units then you must have 5 or more CME credits in your CME bank. In order to take a CME Exam you must be in a CME session. To activate a CME session simply click on the Activate CME session button when you log into E-Echocardiography or click the Red Shield icon in the right upper corner of each page just below your name. It will switch to green which indicates that you are in an active CME session. If you are a physician then you get AMA cme. If you are a Cardiac Sonographer you get SDMS cme (if and when the application is approved). If you are a non physician or cardiac sonographer then you cannot take the CME exams. |

The CME bank is where your cme credits are held for you to use for CME activities. To view your CME bank just go to your account -> CME bank. In the CME bank are three numbers. The Group Shared CME credits is the number of cme credits that is available and shared among all of the group members. You can take a cme exam and draw from the total cme available credits. When you pass an exam we will deduct from the group shared, your group cme, your cme credits in that order. |
