I just wanted to let you know that even though I'm looking quite old, I'm still a millenial.
So I just had a "New Year, New Me" moment and my resolution is to become a new and improved version of myself in a couple of weeks.
Don't worry, my wisdom won't change. You're still going to find the same useful information here. Stay tuned!
| Navigating the web site |
| After you log in, you will be presented with the welcome page. On the page there are messages (if any) that may be pointing out recent changes or future changes. Under the Home button is you account and/or other menus for users that are editors, authors, etc. |
| In the account you can view/change your personal information and preferences. You can also view your CME certificates, puchase CME credits, purchase a subscription, and review transactions or obtain receipts of transactions. |
| In the right upper corner of your page is your name (if you click on it you will go to your account), the CME Session status (active or not active), the number of CME credits you have in your bank, your session time (and how much time you have left before you automatically are logged out), the text size (10px) and the screen width. The last line has your video size (1X,2X,3X or 4X), your video default (MP4) format, and some A's that you can use to increase, decrease, or go to the default text size that is in your preferences. The 'R' is for resonsive text. It will increase automatically when the screen is enlarged and decrease if the screen is downsized. |

Below the menu on the left side of the screen are 1X,2X,3X,4X - click on those to change your session default video size. |
| Next is the title page and an Advertisement (if present) below the title. Advertisements are removed when you active a CME session. When you do a CME activity, you must first visit the CME splash page which has information about the CME provider and some legal stuff. If you forget and go to a CME activity you will be automatically redirected to the CME Splash page and then automatically taken back to your cme activity. |
| On the left side of the page next is the trail that got you to this page. Below this (if present) is a drop down list of all of the anchors/bookmarks for this page. On the opposite side is a dropdown list of all of the pages in this category or section. |
| Next is the page content. |
| You can change the size of videos and images on the fly by clicking the 1X-4X links or change the default of all of the images or videos as mentioned above. Ditto for the video formats. You can download the video by clicking on the download icon. It will go to your designated download area (usually a 'download' folder or you document folder) that you set up on your operating system and/or browser. |
| At the bottom of the page is a place to enter comments (if present). Comments are reveiwed and if appropriate and educational are shown to all users. Comments require that we show your name. |
| In the footer are links to areas such as help, information, calculations, license, privacy, hipaa, etc. |
